After months of waiting and hoping, then the sudden and crushing realization, as my wife Betty miscarries. You may know that yearning which Betty has, and has had to hold that child. What's compounding the problem even more for those who mourn such a loss is that they have no visible pictures or no other evidence that their child ever existed.
We believe that God laid it in Betty's heart to paint this picture for all those who desire to remember their baby, to put the reality of their child in perspective, and to help them work through the grieving process.
Your child, one that Jesus created (Colossians 1: 16), is whole and complete and in His presence. Even if we had a picture of our very child, I believe we all should remember that the things that are seen are temporal (lasting only for a time), but the things that are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
